  • A RE-Introduction!

    Hi everyone

My name is Charlotte and I used to be a pretty active member on the forums up until a few months ago - at the time I was due to get made redundant from my previous job and had just gotten into the grow your own side of things and could often be found asking for advice and suggestion on what to do with my newly built raised beds.

    Fast forward a few months...
I got the dream job I had applied for, I say dream job but it's really a brilliant stepping stone to much greater things that should result in a dream job lol I got accepted onto the Homebase Garden Academy and I'm now training for my Horticulture NVQ and am studying garden design with none other than Adam Frost! I spend at least one week a month away in Birmingham studying at Winterbourne House and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Changing jobs was a difficult time for me (I suffer from BiPolar and dont deal well with change) and it triggered a period of not being interested in doing much else than going to work, coming home and sleeping. Needless to say my garden has been severely neglected since around September and now looks like a messy wilderness.

I've been feeling a lot better since the end of November and I'm really looking forward to next year - learning lots and finally getting the garden and veg patches into shape. I've started to formulate some plans for the garden and can't wait to show you the updates!

So happy to be back xxxx
