  • Debris netting clips

What do people use to clip their debris netting onto raised beds. I use the small pins with plastic heads but find them a bit awkward at times. Are there any full plastic clips e.g. on eBay that anyone uses?

I use clothes pegs for clipping onto my frames.

My frames are the thick scaffolding planks. I pull netting down side and fix with nail/pin through the eyelets. Must be a wee plastic hook somewhere tha would do the job, will have a further look on eBay.

I use these but don't know if 24mm opening is enough for scaffold boards:

If you have plastic pipe hoops just cut short lengths of the same plastic pipe and split them lengthwise. Its then just a simple case of clipping them over the pipe on top of the debris netting!

That's sounds like a good idea! Thanks.

I use electricians releasable cables ties to secure my netting, fit most shapes and sizes and last for ages.

I use enviromesh but simply drape over a bamboo frame and peg into the ground. Don't attach to the frame at all.

You are a lovely, clever bunch Yet another great tip amongst many others. Just made some this morning, the 22mm ones (for 20mm blue pipe or 22mm heating pipe) seem to work better than the 15mm ones (15mm heating pipe). They are so simple and neat I can get rid of all the milk bottles now I couldn't get away with spliting them though, so I cut a strip out which took a little longer to make, but I am so pleased. Thank you

never heard of them before, just had a quick gogle, they look brill,go up to 11 inch,i often use them on jobs around the plots, like holding frames, and canes/stickes ext, then cut em of end of season,so a few sizes and reuse should be not only cheaper in the long run,but easier, less to land fill ext, goes of to explore the net
