Hi, torrential rain keeping me awake so thought I would post.
I had 4xblocking 14 comfrey which I I bought early this year , they were a decent size root so I cut them in half and wished for the best and now I have 8 (yeaaaa, i love free stuff)
what size bed do you think these will need as they are in 2 large pots at the moment and want them in before weather turns too cold.
or
could I plant them under the chicken coop nest boxes (these are external / overhanging), I was reserving for flowers but sod em, does comfrey accept / like shade, one side is in full sun but the other is in shade most of day.
PS I have heard comfrey is chicken proof until its picked and wilted is this correct?
