  • Insect Bites

I'm not sure if this is a geographical thing, and possibly related to the great weather we've had recently - however, I am absolutely riddled with insect bites.

It doesn't appear to be exclusive to our allotment site, as some folk in work have been having the same problem.

Has anybody else been experiencing an upsurge of this recently?

Also, does anyone know which insect(s) would be the main culprit?

I've just dropped my trousers to view the bites on my legs - I'll post pics if you want.

Maybe be harvest mites, although I've suffered from them in the uk. Are the bites following the line of a waistband and other places where clothes are snug?

What are you trying to say PP - although my groin area is badly affected.

Joking aside, it seems to be areas which were a bit 'sweaty' over the weekend.

I was just hoping someone might recognise what insect it is (the bites I mean).

This is what I was thinking of. Horrible for a couple of days and easy to get reinfested.

Don't reveal anymore - apparently, Pyrenees Plot thinks it's due to me putting on a 'few extra pounds' and being a bit snug in the clothes area.

I'm not sure how popular I'll be when I convey this information to the fellow suffering work colleagues tomorrow.
