  • Euro Shopping Trip!

Ok, I'm off to France & Belgium tonight to do a bit of shopping. How do you think I should pay?................Card, Euros or Sterling................I'm swaying towards Sterling but if you can persuade me otherwise then I'm all ears.

If you pay them with Sterling, won't the Scottish get a bit annoyed

You are still getting a lot of euro´s for your sterling at the moment, i think 1.37, makes a big different to the bank balance over here. I was only getting 1.13 three years ago.
      Have fun

As Lisa said, you will get a good few euros for the pound at the moment. If you buy euros though, try and spend them all because you'll loose a fair bit when you change them back. I don't know if everyone will take sterling and if they do, you'll probably be hammered on the exchange rate they use. Whatever you decide, have a great trip.

BB thinks you may be annoyed if I spend one of your famous cities.

Euros for sure and if you don't spend it all you can always keep it for the next time.
The exchange rate is great at the moment.
                            Enjoy your trip.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
