    Decided to check on the parsnips so lifted one, better result than last year

    Well done, that looks really good, and very long and straight. I haven't lifted any yet (waiting for a frost) but the top growth looks really good on mine, I'm hoping for better than I had last year. I doubt I'll have anything that looks as good as that though.

      That's a beauty
      I've lifted only a couple of my parsnips because I fancied them for dinner, mine were nothing as impressive as that one Greenleaves.
      Location....East Midlands.

        I've got loads in that i am desperate to lift but i am putting off until the first frosts. I've scraped a bit of the soil away to have a look at them and they look quite big.

              I got too impatient when I grew parsnips, I had to wait until late November for a proper frost! That one looks great, I wish I'd grown some this year.
