    Dunno if it's all the moving adverts ATM

    but the site is very slow loading today, and some of the colours are fluorescent, til it is

    At first many buttons are missing, it's only cos I know where the new posts one is that I can find it. It shows up when the cursor is in the right place that it shows.

    Very weird, other sites are ok, though..............

    Thanks for the update Thelma, I have tried to replicate the issues you are having on my tablet, pc, laptop and phone but all appears OK.....as a curiosity I am having problems with the bbc site ie only partially loading.

    Are you able to send me a screen print? I can then forward it to admin

        All good here on both ipad and pc Thelma.

        A screenshot would be useful please if you can catch it doing that .....it may of course be 'at your end' and not the Vine ???!

                    I couldn't capture it earlier when I tried.

                    It loaded a bit quicker this time - so panic over for now

                      For the last few weeks I've regularly had to abandon reading the GYO pages due to something within them causing my computer to run very slow, freeze or even terminate all my open internet windows/tabs (sometimes I have several things on the go at once).

                      It's getting progressively worse - and annoying.

                      Today I had numerous 'script errors' and I couldn't exit the warnings which were popping up left right and centre like a virus!
                      In the end I had to pull the plug to escape from the vicious circle of error messages and freezing it caused.

                      I don't mean to sound nasty but at this rate I'll soon have to stop visiting because loading the pages causes too much mischief.
                      Maybe it's because I don't have Windows 10? (I have Windows 8.1).

                        I dont think it has anything to do with the version of Windows your are on FB, it should work whatever version you are on. I'll link this thread to admin though so that they can look into it. Do you use an adblocker?

                          I'm running Windows 8.1 on Opera on Laptop & all is tickerty boo.................sorry, also running adblock plus.

                            I am on Windows10 and everything seems ok. Had the yellow water butt one on the bottom this afternoon but just clicked hide. Have two small ones down the side and four small ones along the top. But I did think the site ran a bit slow the other day.

                              I'm suspecting it's some of the adverts which aren't running properly.
                              A few of the advertising slots show things which are connected to my unique browsing history and recent google searches - for example the one on the right margin is showing an advert for Skoda (I've been closely following the VW/diesel events so it's probably due to that).

                              Thinking about it some more, I'm not currently logged into to my Google account and haven't been for a few hours, and haven't had problems during that time. So after posting this I'm going to log into Google and see if I get problems, and what adverts have changed.
