  • 2 golds and a bronze

Been away for the last fortnight fishing and needed to get on my plot to do some serious weeding and general upkeep .
All was going well till I was aproached by our site rep who took some of my veg to our horticulture show and presented me with a merit for best newcomer and 2 golds for my peppers and white snowman winter squash and a bronze for my cucumber.
To say I'm well chuffed is an understatement. Best thing I've ever done is getting my allotment .
When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail.

    Well done to you Johnny.
What a lovely surprise to come home to.
Hope the fishing went well also.

I'd have anyone who took veg out of my plot without my permission separated from their feet at the knees whether or not they were winning trophies on my behalf

Well done, although like Aberdeenplotter, I hope they asked first!
