  • Saving Dahlia seeds.

Just wondering if anyone else saves their Dahlia seeds. I have a few named varieties but save the seeds from the bedding ones. There are always a few surprises when they flower as they have usually cross pollinated, plus they serve to fill up a few gaps as well.

I have saved Dahlia seeds. They don't come true but they will flower next season and will be quite decorative.

I have saved seed each year from an initial 3 tubers which were given to me and I have a gorgeous range of colours. Plus I don't lift tubers in winter so I get to cover my bottom
