  • Sidebars on website

I normally log in to the forum from my phone, but used my laptop today - i was slightly alarmed to see that the right-hand sidebar is showing adverts for websites to find young ladies of different ethnic origins! Not really what i expected to find on a gardening website lol!

Can i just check if anyone else is getting this or if i have managed to get some kind of virus/malware on my laptop!

    Cheers!

It's nothing to do with the Vine- it's a goooogle thing.
I've been getting them on and off for years

just a bit - i did google a recipe for thai beef salad dressing, but these are a whole different kind of "sauce" lol!

Even more worrying was the fact i had let my 67yr old mother use my laptop recently!!

Ooooo.....bet she wondered what you'd been up to!

Having said that, the recipe search may have been enough to set them off!

The first time my mom tried to use goooogle on her iPad she searched for Th@i food and got p@rn piccies too! ( Yep...feel free to show this post to your mom! )

My ears are still bleeding from the first time she told me a dirty joke - that was 20 years ago lol

You've lost all innocence by the time you reach 67

I always remember me mum, in hospital after a stroke - but she still wanted her hair combed and her teeth in............................cos the physio was on his way - and he was absolutely gorgeous *drool*
She obviously thought so as well - at 82 Ha ha
