  • Which song...

Mine was Nights in White Satin which isn't one of my absolute favourites if I'm honest but the personality write up was sort of accurate.

Its a bit daft but oh well a bit of fun and nostalgic too

    What's your 60s song?

    "Good Vibrations"
"This song is the anthem of an entire generation. It is perfectly in tune with your friendly nature. You find something good in every person you meet and you don't let bad experiences from the past prevent you from making new friends in the present. No-one can really sing the blues for long around you."

It actually is a song I like a lot.

      Your 60s song is
"Sounds Of Silence“ (Simon & Garfunkel)
This song describes the troubles that people in modern society have connecting with others emotionally. It fits perfectly with your analytical way of thinking. You look at the world with critical eye and don't let yourself be fooled by appearances. Because of this, you are always one step ahead of others.

I don[t even understand that ^^^^ though I do like the song! Can't do Silence for long though

When I hear it, I always hear "Knights" in White Satin - I used to think it was an odd thing for knights to wear, really. (Never paid any attention to any of the words beyond that first line)

Another one for Nights in white satin even though I'm far too young to remember any of the 60's..............

Me too, I used to visualize knights wearing white satin whilst galloping about on their horses

That raises another of their better tracks, so many of them remain unanswered ........

                              Sounds of Silence here too!

I was only a tot in the 60's and really only was aware of any other music apart from Glenn Miller and Gilbert and Sullivan until Sandy Shaw won the Eurovision Song contest with Puppet on a String in 1967!

I've just had a look at the top 100 hits for that year and spotted Jeff Beck's Hi-Ho Silver Lining.
I remember that well- great fun to sing to even now!!!
