  • This made I larf out loud - hope it gives you a chuckle too :)

A friend posted this on Facebook this morning and I couldn't help but laugh at it myself. Let's see how many smiling faces we can get today

Takes a few seconds to get really going but I think it is quite funny.

If you look you can see a few people just looking confused, possibly wondering why people are laughing at a joke that nobody has shared with them, that would certainly be me. I know (or assume) it's only meant to be a bit of fun but I'd actually find it a bit intimidating but suspect from other joke threads that I'll be in the minority (possibly a minority of one ). However if ever I do have the misfortune to have to go down to London I do make a point if smiling at people in the tube though, freaks about half of them out too so maybe I'm no better, just think of smiling at somebody is nice, laughing for no reason would just make me think I'd got my skirt in my knickers so a lot less nice. Sorry for being a kill joy again.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Not a kill joy at all Alison There were a couple of people who didn't find it funny, and I fully appreciate that we aren't all the same. I think I might have been a bit perturbed had I been on in the carriage with them but I find that laughter (and yawning) is contagious and I found myself laughing out loud which made me feel good.

I agree, smiling is nice and I also try to do it whenever possible. Helps make the world go round

How did they manage to organise that many nutters on one train?

I'm one of those annoying people who smiles and says hello to everyone I pass. I laugh at the silliest things and have been known to make a roomful of strangers laugh, just because I was laughing and wheezing.
It makes it worse when they ask what you're laughing at, because, usually, its so simple, fleeting and stupid that nobody else would find it amusing. However, when I try to explain, I just collapse in giggles again.
I get it from my Dad, - he used to roll off the settee, clutching his sides. tears streaming down his face.
There's nothing better than a good laugh
