Can I use tomato food in Miraclegrow feeder?

    Can I use tomato food in Miraclegrow feeder?

    I have one of these feeders which attaches to the end of the hosepipe. You normally add the blue crystals to the feeder bottle and water as normal to feed.

    Does anyone use these feeders with tomato food? If so how much food do you add?

    My back is protesting at lifting and carrying watering cans at the moment and I just thought this might be a shortcut.

    I had the same thought - although I was wondering about using it with comfrey feed.

    Ad the blue crystals need to be dissolved in water first I cant see why you couldn't use a different liquid feed ' it's getting the right strength of the solution so that you don't burn the plants

      Well nigh impossible to get the feeding ratio correct. I have tried and failed miserably.
