  • 'Crispy Leaves'

Wonder if anyone else is having similar problem, either my climbing borlotti or climbing French beans, have 'crispy curled leaves' that crumble if you touch them, no 'bugs' on the leaves.

I watered them well and added some chicken pellets, took photo, but might not be clear.

The same is happening here. It seems just to be the heat, the new leaves will be ok when the temp drops.

I have crispy leaves on my french beans too - I assumed it was because they had got too hot, first in the house and then in the growhouse. I've now taken them out of there and put them in a slightly shadier place and they do look to be recovering with new flower buds forming.
