  • B and m 9 Section veg planter

I popped into B&M today and saw a veg planter raised bed for £2.99. They're made of the same stuff the cheap potato bags are made from and are 97×97×25cm

Internally they are sprit into 9 planting sections, have a base with drainage holes in eash section and there's two 4 sectioned rods fpr stopping the front& back from bulging (you can pop canes into the other sides).

Figured that they'd be useful for a temporary bed for this year when I run out of wood. When I got to the till they were only £1 a piece so I ran back and grabbed4 more - handy if, once I've moved the manure pile, I don't want to dig up the flagstones underneath just yet.

I had exactly the same thought. I now have to buy a greenhouse

I also have a bit at theback I'm going to cover with a tarpaulin and slap these down with planks for paths so that the weeds get smothered and I can still use the area

I'd put it in the GH first, then fill it

VC yes but i still would not get through the door as my GH is only 6x4 with the door in the middle lol but if i gather the end three squares and hold together with pegs i can get in . Not sure if this makes sense, but they do seem good for the money.

If you cut down edge of the middle outside square, you could stand in the middle of it and have a keyhole garden
Now that really doesn't make sense but I know what I mean - and that's important to me.
