  • Banana Peppers

I'm unsure whether to plant my banana pepper plant in my south facing raised bed or in my blowaway greenhouse which is on the east facing wall of my house which will be warmer but won't get as much sun. Any advice or tips about this type of pepper plant appreciated.. thanks!

Normally I would say aim for the most sun but wind is also a factor.
How windy/sheltered is your raised bed?

Thanks for your reply. The raised bed is quite sheltered and does get more sun however today I opted for the greenhouse. There's been some quite chilly days lately so I thought a warmer location is better, and also having measured the amount of sun the greenhouse gets, its about 6+ hours each day. A couple of years ago I grew dragons egg cucumbers in a blowaway greenhouse on the same wall of the house and they did really well, so I am hoping the same for the peppers... I'll report back.
