  • spider invasion!

So im growing all my veg on my balcony. And recently ive noticed a few little spiders (babies?) Pottering around. No bother!

But ive just looked at my tomato plants and i literally have, probably hundreds of these little spiders bunched up on one pplant with they webs going from stem to stem.

Do i leave them? Or do they do any harm?

I spose they would keep the bugs away atleast??

As long as they are not spider mites ( but you wouldnt see them easily...smaller than a grain of dust ) , as long as they are small spider size then I leave them as they catch the greenfly

Have you been watching Arachnophobia with the giant mother spider?

The female spider probably died after laying her eggs. I don't worry about spiders in the greenhouse & polytunnel - they're not detrimental to our plants at all
