  • Can anyone recommend a manual/battery mower?

The paths to the side of my allotment are my responsibilty to cut but obviously there's no power so I would like to get a cheapish, manual mower. There seems to be a big difference in price between them but I don't know where to start comparing, so any advice would be welcome please.

We use a Qualcast push mower. No power other than human kind needed.

I did my front garden with a b&q push mower. 37£ and good for the job. I'm thinking to do grass path at the allotment so I can use it as well. Bi only 30cm wide but good.

I was looking at the B+Q ones, but that shop is not generally well known for the quality of it's own brand stuff so was a little wary.

I would also be tempted to go for a manual rotary mower, once the battery runs out it will be frustrating & petrol ones are quite expensive. Does anyone on the plot have a petrol one that you can borrow if you put some juice in it.
