  • growing rooster potatoes

I've done an experiment with an old round manhole wich when built up stands almost 6ft .
I've drilled 2"holes all around at differect levels and planted rooster tubers to see if I can grow potatoes without all the hassle of earthing up.
ell went to the plot today and the holes I drilled are starting to produce potatoe tops so looks like happy days .
what's the weirdest thing you have used to grow potatoes in.

Is it a one piece 6ft length of pipe or is it in sections. I was just wondering how you was going to harvest the spuds. A photo would be good.
