    Hey all

So i was "chitting" runner beans and peas on cotton wool, the peas are doing great, lovely roots, and dark green stems/leaves. However i noticed that the runner bean seeeds although they have germinated, their root looks brown, stunted and honestly dead. What could have caused this? They are in identical pots, identical watering amount and in the same sunny windowsill.

Should i try to save them? Or redo them?

Hmm, a photo would help although to be honest I think it's much to early for runner beans - they can't be kept in pots for long and they are very quick to germinate. I would sow again in a couple of weeks before your last expected frost as they are quite tender.
