  • Buying a new Polytunnel

I was going to repair my Polytunnel but when it comes down to doing it its now going to cost way too much. I need a polythene as well as a base rail, door and several clips all coming to over £200 Anyone got any idea on where to get a new polytunnel at all?

Mine's one of these. Lovely company to deal with(I rang up and they told me I didn't need to buy something I though I might need - and they were right. Also they had a two for one deal on crop bars but I wanted 3 and they put them all in at the offer price.), fantastically helpful delivery man.

You probably know this but you have to watch the total cost, with some companies you have to buy all the bits like hot spot tape separately and others give you it in the cost. Do but crop bars though - really worth the money.

I second this. They are invaluable tools as well as adding strength.

I bought my tunnel frame off ebay, i think 30 quid, 24ft long, 14 wide, then bought the plastic 80 quid, then bought some crop bars, i think a fiver each.

Don't waste your money on cheap rubbish that'll only last a season. Get a quality proper tunnel from a reputable supplier (or good second hand frame) and you'll be rewarded.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
