hi all I`ve just got myself 2 blackberry plants to go on my plot and I was wondering how far apat I should plant them ? I`ve got wooden posts put in the ground with wires running horizontal and wanted to train the plants along them, afreind said to put the plants 1 at each end and train them toward each other but that would mean the plants are 15 meters apart would that be to much ? the plants are rubus fruit thornfree if that helps ,cheers

eventually you'd get new canes filling it up I guess? But for the next few years you would have a big gap in the middle -
