  • Hello!

My name is Sue, I'm from Banbury and I have allotment envy!

I joined the forum about a week ago and have spent lots of time reading posts and admiring photos and thought it was about time I introduced myself. I'm not a complete newbie when it comes to gardening but as an Aussie I'm used to completely different growing conditions.

I'm renting this house and have a small north facing back garden and a miniscule south facing front garden so am really limited with what I can do here. I'm on the waiting list at one allotment site and have enquired about another so I'm really hoping I'll have more space soon. The south facing window sills are groaning under the weight of the seeds I have already started off!

By the way, the 'spinning' part of my user name has nothing to do with fitness - I am a spinner, weaver and knitter.

Hello Hello It's Nice To Say Hello - trying to sing in tune and failing badly. Welcome to the font of all knowledge, wisdom and hilarity. I hope you get your lottie soon - if not pots and pots and pots.
