    manure question

    Hi All

    Is it too late to add horse manure bought from garden center? Was thinking of adding to boarders in the polytunnel but worried as i know it can burn plants.

    Anything you buy bagged from the garden centre will be very well rotted and can be added any time of year.

      If it comes from a Garden Centre it should be well rotted and OK to add to the beds. It is only when it comes from a manure heap and is fresh that it will burn the plants.
