  • Upside down tomato planters

Has anybody used them? i got bought one years ago and never used it.

i want to utilise more space in my poly tunnel and thought i could hang these of the metal hoops. but do not want to go to the expense of buying quite a few.

Can you use them more than one season?

    Thanks grapes

I seem to remember a thread on here where people were not that enthused about them.

I not read any good reviews..the tomatoes like to grow towards the light so they try to grow upwards rather than hang down. Perhaps just try the one you have?
What about good old fashioned hanging baskets, they work well in my GH

Will be trying to homemake some hanging baskets as they are very expensive here.

I have a couple of these upside down planters from the pound shop which have three planting holes in the sides as well as the planting hole in the bottom. Also have two on the bottom hole only type. Thinking about planting Current tomato sweet pea in the bottom holes with gartenperl in the side holes.
