  • Please help identify my weeds!

    Can anyone shed any light on what these might be? I've searched weed identification websites but not found anything I think looks similar. Thanks.

    Can't remember the name of the first one but the second one is nettle

      First one is a willowherb. And yes, second is a stinging nettle.

        So thats the darned stuff,willow herb,i hoe it of where i can,or pull up smaller clumps,larger ones need a fork,if we must have weeds,i would sooner this than couch grass and bind weed,as it really is a bind

              My neighbour's plot is very well maintained so I reckon she will be more worried about us rather than the other way round!

              The willowherb seems to be mostly affecting one patch of the plot so should be easy enough to get rid of. Shame really...when I googled it the flowers are really nice

              I think I've already shifted most of the nettles, they are a right pain to get out because the roots spread everywhere! I had my suspicions that they were nettles but wasn't sure.

                Willow Herb & Stinging Nettle.
                Easily removed with a hand fork.
