I've cleared my plot of rubbish had a good look around and got an idea in mind of how its going to look. Question is, there is 6 rose bushes smack bang in the middle of the plot and i don't want them there. are they ok to move now and if so any tips on how to?

Are you 100% certain they are roses? If its thorny it could be gooseberries. -
couple of the bushes still have flowers on them so as they are in a line i'm assuming they all are.Comment

I would give them some Rootgrow (must be in contact with the roots, not sprinkled in the planting hole) to help them re-establish, particularly if the soil has grown Roses recently (which you presumably won't know).
I would prune them half way back now (reduced wind rock), and prune hard in early March (after hard frosts which might cause die-back of stems and thus not leave you with much if you hard-prune them now)K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our gardenComment
