  • Hi from Shetland

    Hi everyone!

    I am David and live on a island of mainland Shetland called whalsay! Have been growing are own veg for a couple of years but still very much new to the game!

    Am going to try using biodinamic practice on my plot and following the calander see how it goes.

    Will be asking you all lots of questions

            Haha it is a challange but yes! we have a short season but in hight of summer it never gets dark so plenty of growing light! And peat soil but the winds are the biggest problem

            Have grown great garlic for the last few years and carrots, onions, kale and leeks have all done well
