  • Chilli heat

Hi everyone. It's very difficult to find fresh chillis here in France, so these are a must-have item for me. Last year I only grew cayenne chillis, as these are what you get in Indian shops (in green form) in the UK and that's what I wanted. Crop was very successful and still have loads of nice hot green chillis in the freezer.

But I realised that I was missing having the milder red chillis that you commonly get in UK supermarkets and which I use whenever I want fresh red chilli for Mediterranean dishes. Nowhere near as hot as Indian or Thai chillis, but just for a bit of a fresh hot kick in pasta etc. But I've no idea which variety most closely matches this type of chilli. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
