I will leave for others, but i've heard and experienced you pay for what you get.

You will be replacing the plastic within the next couple of years and that is what is costly.

I have just put in a heavy duty poly, and did the dig/trench way. It was a lot easier than fist thought. Do a lot of watching videos on youtube first it really helps.

For the money it looks excellent value. I would ignore the �239.99 though.

To me its a lot of tunnel for not a lot of money, so i ask myself, WHY?

In my experience, as already said, the plastic cover only lasts a couple of years. Replacement green covers are about �60 on ebay

IMO It's better to replace with proper polytunnel polythene which lasts much longer.

Personally I think that the fact that it's being put on the lottie is a reason to buy a more sturdy model. The cheaper ones aren't called blow aways for nothing and as it's further from the house it becomes more difficult to keep an eye on. I put mine up the plot a few years ago and did get very demoralised when the plastic was damaged but I could tape it up and it's been OK. I do get people having a smoke in there at times (particularly on wet summer evenings) but they don't do any harm so maybe I'm lucky. I suspect that a more flimsy structure wouldn't have withstood it all through and I'd have had to replace a few times costing me time and money.

Well its silly cheap so you aint got much to lose. I have one similar but not so long and its standing up well to the weather . The only pain i had was the zip up door so i made a proper door.

Northern Polytunnels is a quality brand, I had a look at their "Allotment Polytunnel". 10' x 20' (about the same as the 3m x 6m one listed above for �89.99) is �525.34

I'm definitely not a fan of the loose-fitting covers though, and think the stretched covers are much more robust in a strong wind. Ditto with the roll-up windows, which allow the wind in-and-under which can lift the whole structure up to "blow away"

Ive had the same polytunnel, Still do, But after three years the plastic had completely broken up. First damage was where it came into contact with metal frame, (heat damage)/ I have sinced brought new plastic from ebay and insulated the steel frame to protect plastic. Also i had to construct a wooden frame door which i covered in enviromesh. It now is 8 yrs old, has good ventilation via door mesh and is a great growing enviroment. So id say yes buy it (its cheap) but be prepared to spend another �60 and weekend of work in three four yrs time. Well worth trouble though.
