    Hi, I'm Gema I live in rural Scotland with my hubby 3 kids(11,10,2) 3dogs, 2cats and 5 hens. We have been growing our own foods for 3 years now trying to improve each year. Our main is to be self-sufficient. Can't wait to meet you all and get some great tips

        Hello there. Where about in Scotland are you? We have quite a few Grapes in Scotland.
        Use to live in Peterhead myself several years ago. My mom and dad decided to do the Good life up there.
        We love pictures here like Greenleaves says

              Hi and welcome to the vine. If you're aiming for self-sufficiency does that mean you'll be growing mainly staples like tatties, neeps, carrots and such, or will you be trying some more adventurous crops as well?

                            Hi Gema and welcome to the vine. Mrs B and I are almost self sufficient in veg, it's been a steady learning curve over five (nearly six) years but good fun, not to mention good eating. I'm sure you'll fit in here.
