  • an early finish

we have just finished our blue tatties and purple carrots, and its not even Christmas, all the black and the blue toms have been eaten so its just the normal coloured stuff now and the roast tatties wont taste as good or look so peculiar. i have given some of this years seeds from my "oddball" toms to friends and relatives to see what will have crossed this year, i am hoping for the indigo rose to cross with the jumbo black Russians or the olympe (as long as we keep the flavour) and it wont be long now til we start growing again, with the onions on boxing day, so a great Christmas to everyone and I hope next year is good for us all, all over the UK...

Have you actively fertilised the different tomatoes or are you just hoping? Would be interested to see if it's the former but if the latter then you may well be disappointed as most toms don't cross very much at all by accident.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
