  • Melon Pear Plants

Has anyone grown Melon Pear plants and managed to overwinter them. Took a load of cuttings end of August and they have made good strong plants and do not want to lose them.
Any help would be most welcome

Hi Bob - would you be better posting this in the veggie section or the fruit section instead of the chicken section? You might get more replies...

I have overwintered them ok just died come the summer (due to neglect) - doh!
Nothing special just left in an unheated greenhouse. My Dad had his outside over winter between the greenhouse and the fence, so very sheltered basically.

          Thanks for your help.
Was surprised at what a good crop of mellons i had. They were very juicy and a great taste. Easier to grow than usual mellons.
