hello again guys its chris and vanessa again from the first newbie allotment post but unfortunately we were locked out and have had to re register. we are back now however. thanks to everyone who has given us such a warm welcome. wont be on here every day unfoprtunately as we both have full time jobs but ill be here mainly every other 3 days. will put up pictures as and when we are able to. i remember another forum member asking about onions and the like yes we have put onions amnd garlic to overwinter and they are sprouting now. Our allotment is definetly a work in progress as it was overgrown and absolutly no order to anything, as per new allotments, which is exactly what we anticipated having done extensive research. i think i touched on this in the last post but we are growing fruit and veg and herbs and cut flowers to try and save money and also the planet etc. I cannot see the point in growing spuds in Devon, flying them to Denmark to be washed and bagged and then sent back to Halifax Asda for me to buy. Ill do it myself thanks.

As before mentioned we both have a sense of humour ( essential here and also as a medic) so dont worry about us being offended. We are here to learn and to chat to you guys and girls and maybe pick up some good sound advice on the way
    chris and vanessa xx
