    Coming soon to your.. Vs.. Parcel,,cucamelons

    As above,i have been trying my hand at saving CUCAMELON seed,with great success ,I have had several chitting aprox 4 days now,and tiny white chits are showing,so i will package them up into 24 to 30 little pkts,and send in to VC ,

    Right.T.hoe,there are 24 pkts,a good pinch of seed,aprox 18 plus,some will chit some will not,i have noticed,they all look the same until they meet with water,perhaps that is why some peeps have said their's failed,so i thought it best to say something,you should get more than you want out of each pkt ,they are now in the post office

          Thank you Lottie. Your Cucamelon seeds arrived today but I've been a bit too busy to reply.
          I accept your challenge to grow a few overwinter
          Lots of seeds in the VSP now for anyone who wants to grow them next year (or overwinter!)

              Pleased they arrived,the challenge are the 6 chitted,batch test ones ,not the others,hope the little roots survived the post office,must get mine in pots today,some roots have sprouted whiskers and green shoots,will post a pic before potting up,
              Am here scratching me head,wondering WHAT kept you so busy yesterday,

                here are some pics,1 is the is the container i chitted in,as you see it,2 is the 5 i got left,3 is a close up,i find it fascinating how a plant germinates and develops,roots form,i only done a few purley to test germination,as i do not wish to end up a donkey,and disapoint anyone,srap no 3 pic,one day i may figure my cam out
