Its OK with Opera but with Chrome the pages look like this! Anyone else suffering this afternoon? Or ideas on how I can rectify it? Thanks

I get that VC when I have a slow connection speed, normally closing the browser and reopening sorts it -

Don't know what it might be. I sometimes get that sort of thing with Facebook but refreshing usually works.

I had that earlier on today - I get it on some sites when connection is slow for whatever reason (it took ages for the page to display, other sites open at the same time were fast, so no idea what was "slow").
I think basically what happens is that the page loading gives up before it has fully downloaded the associated style sheet, which is what contains all the information about font sizes / positioning / layout, so you just get the "guts" of the page without the formatting.K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our gardenComment

I'm using Safari on the iPad, with a sh!te connection, and pages on this site are taking longer than usual to load.

Have you tried clearing your temp files on your computer? Sometimes that can make the internet slow.CarrieComment

I do that regularly. It's only on the vine I ever have problems. The other forums I use are all fine.Comment
