    Newbie from Northumberland

    Hi everyone,

    I'm Katie, a fairly new allotmenteer living in Northumberland. After about 9 months on a waiting list (not long at all, compared to some!), I'm now solely responsible for an allotment of my own. I've had a lot of help from friends and nearby allotment holders, but I think it's fair to say you can never have too much advice, so here I am!

                  Thank you all for the warm welcome, and how fortunate that you like pictures, for I have a blog that features several! I might be able to find more if anyone's interested. There's not MUCH to see at the moment, other than evidence of my obsession/ability to dig, but there it is!

                      Here's a view of my allotment before it was mine, and then after a couple of months of work! Still a long way to go, but I'm getting there!
