Looks rather thistle -ish to me. Can't really see the leaves from your photo. Do you have any from a different angle?

We've got a few teasels in our garden I relocate those that grow in the veg beds but the rest are left for the birds, Gold finches love them.

When our daughter was Brownie age I brought home teasels to make hedgehogs (three glued on beads for a face and lavender bag bodies like these). Some seeds escaped into the garden and 20 years later we still have teasels.Location ... NottinghamComment
