    Harvesting Mint

    I harvested my mint this morning, froze them on a tray in the freezer and then stored in freezer bags.

    I pruned the mint back to its last or last but one set of leaves. Should I prune it back further for the Winter months?

    I picked all the tender tips and made 4 jars of mint sauce in May and June and then cut it all back to about 2 inch above the ground. Its now grown lots more young tips... enough for winter picking.
    I will cut it down to the around the end of feb, and then start again.
    Its Grand to be Daft...

      I cut it above a set of leaves so I thought it will encourage more growth of side shoots. Best to cut it down further?
