Hi Jodi and welcome We love pictures and are never bored by them - so put them up and let us see how you're doing.
Hope you don't mind me saying, but I also like predictive text errors - so hope you're not ready to start "frowning"

      Lol *growing!! (I hate that)

I shall do so when I'm more nearer the end..
I didn't realise how fun it could be and we all get stuck in even the little one with his own mini wheel barrow! =} x

        Many welcomes!!

For starters, you could be thinking about what garlic and overwintering onion sets you need to order for planting in October...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Hello, Jodi (and chap, kiddy, old pop etc.) - welcome to the Vine.

As Trip says, you may want to think about overwintering garlic and onions; and brassica seedlings are available in the garden centres now. BUT all this depends on your climate - would you mind popping your approx location in your profile? It'll help us when we are trying to offer advice.

And yes - pics are good - we're nosy, and never bored by pics.

Yes, welcome from me too. My grandchildren all enjoy doing little jobs in the garden. get planning as what to so for next year. Kids love big seeds like beans and peas as they are easy for little hands.
Good luck and keep us informed.

              Hi. Welcome to the vine.
A good idea is let your little boy have his own little space. Give him something like strawberries or sun flowers to grow. He will love eating the strawberries but also be amazed at the height of the sun flowers.
My two love digging holes. Its amazing how deep they can dig.

This was the first day we got the allotment...
All of them had not been used for many years and didn't have fences so that was our first job... So we thought until we found that most of the ground had 3 layers of carpet with mud in between each layer :| ... And it had been raining so you imagine the hard work...
