  • Tomato Recommendation

I would just like to recommend a tomato variety I grew this year to everyone. It is called Federle a West Virginian heirloom tomato I bought from the Brown Envelope Seed company just to try something new. It produces large fruit in bunches like bananas, looks like red peppers on the plant and taste superb, large fleshy fruit with very little seed. I have one for lunch every day now for the last two weeks . It makes tasty pasta sauce and I combine it with tomatillos for a great salsa. It is just too good not to share

They look fantastic! Perhaps you could save some seed and joint his years all in seed circle...I'd love a try of those

Have a read of the link, it's worth a go if you've got a good crop to save. About 8 tom seeds per bag is usually more than enough. It's good fun and you often receive something that you wouldn't particularly choose yourself and end up with another favourite that you can't live without.
