A month ago I had given up hope on my grapevine for this year. I was losing handfuls of grapes every day, going mouldy and dropping off before they ripened.
They got a spray of soluble aspirin at the same time as the tomatoes and whether it was that or just the damn good talking to I gave them or just mother nature things improved from then on and today I picked my first bunch of the year.
Admittedly they are not prize winners and my hubby had already been pinching them on the way home before I took the photo but considering I was ready to write this years crop off I am ecstatic and there are lots more bunches to follow.
