  • A heavy crop of plums

Our victoria plum is absolutely hanging with fruit this year due to a good spring and a kind winter. How bountiful or otherwise are your fruit trees?

My Victoria plum has.... seven plums on it! But that's seven more than last year.

I have 4 fruit trees, 2 Apple, 1 Pear, 1 Plum. Didn't get any fruit this year, I think I pruned them too hard

Victoria plum is dripping with fruit...we have had to jerry-rig all manner of supports to stop the branches breaking! Just need to decide what on earth to do with all the fruit!!
If it ain't broke...fix it til it is!

We have 3 - well, we did - I nicked one earlier to see if it was ripe! It was and I did share it! New tree = huge smiles from me
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

Last year my Victoria plum was laden with fruit. This year 1 plum. Very few pears this year. The blackbirds bet me to the cherries as well.

Happily I have a good apple crop including Bramleys.

My Czars and Victorias are good this year, needing repeated thinning, but they have more than the usual amount of surface marking and russeting. Plum maggot levels haven't been as high as I'd expected given the early summer warmth, surprisingly.
