  • Hello from Yorkshire!

    Hi Guys!
I'm Nikki, 25, and a relative newbie to gardening.

Last year I was living in small house with just a concrete yard... very uninspiring. One day my mum showed up at my door with two tomato plants and a strawberry plant and it all started from there... I got so excited when those little yellow flowers appeared on my tomatoes and the little white flowers of my strawberries! I could not believe how much enjoyment I got from these little tiny flowers!

So that was it. I had to move house. I needed a garden! So I did!

This year I have about 15 strawberry plants, I got so many strawberries it was fantastic... and now, 25 runners for next year, a raspberry, a few varieties of tomato (about 20 plants), a couple of cucumber plants, peppers, chillies, aubergine, broccoli, onions, leeks, marrows and courgettes! I love it!

Next year I am hoping to get my hands on some of the more unusual varieties of tomato, and a fair few pepper and chilli varieties.

So I am a relative newbie, but I am hooked!

    =D
