Please can anyone tell me how to report a 'spammer ', I usually use App, but can use main site, just couldn't find the way to do it earlier, probably being a bit daft, as am sure I've done it before. Thanks.

Reporting Spammers
Dotty I'm on the app now and can't see the report post triangle.

Whereabouts is it on the 'main site',? Someone has reported the post this morning so it has been done, but I feel I should know.DottyRComment

Dotty,on the main site in the light green band at the bottom of each post,on the left hand side is a black triangle that turns red when the cursor hovers on it,that's the report button click it & a new window will open.
Type a short note in the box & send

On the main site, at the bottom of each post, in the pale green border, next to "blog this post" is a triangle. You click that.Comment

While we are on the subject of the Report Button,please remember it can also be used to report posts that contravene forum rules ....

I really think it would be a good idea to have "report this post" next to the little triangle. I never remember where it is and always end up PMing every mod I can think of! And/or could it be coloured red?"A life lived in fear is a life half lived."

There is not so much room on the mod's version BM & there will be even less on the Admins,this is due to additional functions being added to the standard members taskbar with each incremental change in ranking.
That said I will raise the point with the Tech bods & see if anything is possible

Maybe they could change the triangle to Red permanently, instead of just when you hover over it - as suggested by Marchogaeth.Comment

I think it will depend how deeply the current colour is embedded in the base code,but as they say there's no harm in asking,although I do seem to recall this was much spoken about when the forum was upgraded as it was red before that.He who smiles in the face of adversity,has already decided who to blame
