We had one for several years when we were renting. Ended up using it everyday for about 3 years and never using the normal oven. Found it really good, quick and cheap to use.
Cooking chickens in it were the best.
It is now in the cupboard but only because we bought an amazing hob/oven when we did up our kitchen.

They look really good. And you seem to be able to do everything with it. Thinking of getting it because we want to try and start cooking healthier.

We had a Halogen oven carrie and used it every day...My daughter took it to university with her because its cheap to run,its cooks meals in half the time as a normal oven..Also its a self cleaning machine..I wonder why my daughter wanted it so much lol

I have one, we bought it for everyday use but I didn't get on with it - just me really, I guess it wasn't big enough and I just forgot to use it.
We now have it in the camper and we use it quite a lot. The only thing I find "odd" is that mine, (it was cheap) switches the light on and off to regulate the temperature and I'm sure that the other campers think that we have aliens in our camper van when the light pulses on and off

I bought a cheapish one recently (from Aldi), I didn't want to spend a lot in case I didn't get on with it.

It's quick and really quite good and I use it more than I thought I would. My only gripe is that there isn't enough room on the small round tray that's used with it (for things like roasters). To be fair though, I did only buy a small one.

My lid comes off completely rather than being on a hinge. It's a bit of a pain and next time I'd buy one with a hinged lid.

              Cooks well. And evenly.

The light is so bright it looks like Xmas in our kitchen when it's on.

When I had my flat, the only 2 appliances I had apart from the obvious were a Halogen Oven which I still use & an Electric Steamer..........They suited all my needs. They don't self clean, you have to add water & detergent then set the clean programme.

I have one, unpacked from its box, on the kitchen counter top, taking up space and unused. Just like my Remoska and my slow cooker. * hangs head in shame.

I know how you feel... I once had my electricity cut off too!

Sorry, couldn't resist! I'm sure you, like me, have never had your electricity cut off.

Remoska's are brilliant. I bought mine for £10 in a jumble sale and it fused all the lights when I used it. So I took it back to Lakeland and they gave me a brand new one
                            I think they're about £90 new!
I find the bright lights on the halogen ovens a bit glaring.

                            They're £149 now Wot a bargain
