  • How many 'Geordies' are on the vine?

Being Geordie myself I always get the feeling that I'm in a bit of a minority on the vine, are there really so few of us on here? I can only recall speaking to 4 or 5 people tops from my neck of the woods. Not that I'm saying I don't like talking to all of you other lovely peep's scattered around the world, but would any lurking north east dwellers please come forward and say hello

What brought you up here if you don't mind me asking BB? It's not usually a place that people travel to, either passing through or visiting family?

We rented a cottage near Haltwhistle,Northumberland & traveled to the East & west coast on day trips,up into Scotland as well
Twas a good holiday, went to lots of interesting places most of them (as you noted) not normal "tourist destinations"

We had a map that you could stick a location pin in. Now where is it? Can anyone remember?

Can't get that link to work VC. That is, the link to BM's thread works, but the link in his thread doesn't.

I did find another link to what I suppose was an even older map. The only names I recognised were Martin H and Snohare (who seems to be very quiet these days.....)

Aha! It's a Firefox issue. It opened fine in IE

Wales looks pretty empty too, and there's loads of grapes there now. (You been offering incentives VC?)
