  • Raised bed

I've just had this crazy idea and was wondering if it would work or not.

Could you turn a kids paddling pool into a raised bed?

Aye, if you put drainage holes in the bottom.

I have 2 collapsible round dog washing baths which I grow tatties in. they are about 30 inch diameter and about 24 inch deep. each has a removable screw plug that I open in very wet periods.
my dad got em BOGOF for his Doberman who refused point blank to use em.

Now that would be a good idea! Note to self, get rid of the water before making it into a raised bed

What is the paddling pool made from? If it is inflatable, then the stones in the soil would burst it. I suspect the weight of soil, would damage a pool unless it was very solid. Why do you want a raised bed?

More to the point, why do you have a kids paddling pool if you haven't any kids....
