  • Any ideas what this is?

It's started creeping into my shed.
Is it a kind of ivy? How do I get rid of it? My four year old is on the allotment a lot with me is it harmful?

    Thanks

It is hedge bindweed. It is harmless, although it will grow around plants and starve them of light. It may also break them due to the weight. Curl the stem up, break the leaves, and stuff into bottles filled with glyphosate. And make sure kiddy winks stays clear, and the bottle does not fall over.

Bindweed is a beautiful flower, it's just that the plant is a thug and is really tough to get rid of.
