    Hello from Notts

    Hi everyone, have been lurking for a while and finally registered.

    I am in Notts (Uk) and this is my first year properly growing my own in my new house's garden.

    So far my veg are doing pretty well but my new fruit bushes are not! Harvesting lovely potatoes, beetroot, lettuce, spinach, cucs, courgettes, herbs, radishes etc at the moment but still lots to learn!

      Hello and welcome to the wonderful Vine.

      I wish I could grow spinach - it sometimes seems to flower straight from the seed without a single leaf! Fruit bushes can take a good while to establish but once they get going they'll hopefully produce and produce and produce ...

        Welcome to the vine Rosered - my spinach went straight to seed too
        I am glad I planted loads of fruit bushes on my plot - they do well whatever I do to them
        Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
